The Kehlsteinhaus or Hitlers Eagles Nest on a peak above Berchtesgaden Bavaria Germany, now a tourist attraction and restaurant
Reached by a heavily engineered mounntain road this building was built at great expense in 1938 as a 50th birthday present for Chancellor Adolf Hitler. It was used for meetings with visitors and reportedly only visited by Hitler 13 times.
