A commemorative picture of the artificer mate of the Goeben, killed in action on 8 August 1915 in a trench on Gallipoli after his voluntary enlistment to the land defence of the Dardanelles. In the centre a photograph of Denk in uniform, framed in watercolour paint with depictions of Germania and putti. In the lower section the Dardanelles and the "SMS Goeben vor Messina 6.
