Spain, Burgos: Hominid "Lucy" (Australopithecus afarensis) in the Museum of Human Evolution in black and white version


The Museum of Human Evolution Burgos in Castilla-Leon was opened in 2010. It shows pieces of the archaeological site Sierra de Atapuerca as well as the steps of the human evolution. Sculptures which were reproduced by the french Atelier Daynes from Paris show different kind of human species beginning with the first hominids to our actual species.
