Female white lion with two newborn lion cubs at La Fleche Zoo in the Loire Valley, France. The white lion is a colour mutation of the Transvaal lion (Panthera leo krugeri), also known as the Southeast African lion or Kalahari lion. Two white lion cubs were born on December 2, 2015.
