Portrait photo circa 1915 of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov (1901 - 1918) - youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. Anastasia was murdered in July 1918 along with her parents and siblings following the Russian Revolution of 1917. Rumours circulated for years that Anastasia may have escaped death until DNA testing on charred remains discovered in 2007 proved she had died along with the rest of the Royal Family.
