An important Russian gilt panagia, 1st third of the 18th century Hand painted, gilt silver, engraved, chased, studded with precious stones (ruby cabochons) and glass. The obverse portraying Mary and Christ, at bottom the Russian double eagle with Cyrillic inscription. The reverse with the depiction of Archangel Michael, St. Nicholas, and Archangel Gabriel.
