Coast Guard Twins Reunited By Blinker. It was on their birthday that Coast Guardsmen Kermit D. Olson (left) and his twin brother, Keith M. Olson, were reunited as American invasion forces occupied positions near Hollandia in Dutch New Guinea. They had been separated for a year. Both Olsons held the rate of signalman, second class and it was in an exchange of blinker messages between their respective Coast Guard-manned assault transports that they "met". They are 22 years old. Their home is 2407 Lincoln Street, Northeast, Minneapolis, Minn.
