India: German propaganda leaflet warning Indian troops fighting in Italy that 'The (River) Po is waiting for you'. Abundance on the front; death on the reverse (see CPA0008097). 1945. This is a typical example of a Nazi German propaganda poster dropped on Indian troops fighting for the Allies in Europe during World War II. In this case the leaflet was dropped on troops of the 8th Indian Infantry Division preparing to force a crossing of the River Po in 1945.
