It was also known as the Battle of the Plains of Abraham and took place on September 13 1759. This was a pivotal battle and decided the fate of France's colonies in North America. The battle was fought between the British Navy and Army and the French Army. The fight lasted only fifteen minutes. Wolfe was mortally wounded by musket fire.
