An ancient Egyptian statuette of the Horus falcon, Late Period, mid- to 2nd half of the 1st millennium BC Bronze falcon with double crown. The circular gold inlay of the right eye has been preserved. The surface slightly corroded, therein visible the lines of the former chiselling to depict the plumage. The talons and the lower parts of the legs are broken off. On a modern wooden base. Height without base 15 cm. Appealing, expressive small-scale sculpture.
