Founder's Hall. Goeido or Tashiodo Irimoya style. The largest wooden structure in the world respect square footage of its floor with 76 m. wide, 58 m. deep and 38 m. high. Higashi Honganji Temple of Pure Land Buddhism sect. Founded in 1602 on land donated by Tokugawa Ieyasu (1st Shogun of Edo Period).
