Freshly cut and sorted bean poles, plant support sticks, and bushy perennial flower supports cut from hazel coppice in winter, stored for use in spring. Hazel is coppiced - cut down close to ground - to create a 'stool' that regenerates producing straight, qick growing, poles. Depending at what size they are cut and the quality/straightness of the wood they can be used for anything from hurdle fencing to, bean poles, pea sticks, plant supports, fire wood & charcoal. Expensive to buy as they do not last more than a couple of years, so makes sense to grow your own.
