A Crailsheim faience tankard,'Gelbe Familie",circa 1760 White glazed cylindrical tankard with a strap handle,and decorated in the Crailsheim "Gelbe Familie" polychrome. Mounted hunter firing a pistol,accompanied by two hounds chasing a pair of foxes. Base ring,lip,and handle are mounted with pewter. Hinged lid with Dinkelsbühl marks and a ball thumb lever. Handle slightly bumped. Pewter fittings with repairs in places. Small crack above the beginning of the handle.
