a hunting coalition consisting of a peacock grouper, or blue-spotted grouper, Cephalopholis argus, and a whitemouth moray eel, Gymnothorax meleagris; Honokohau, North Kona, Big Island, Hawaii, USA; the grouper gently caresses the eel with its pectoral fin to encourage it to hunt; when the eel goes inside the reef to hunt, the grouper stations itself by a reef opening to block the exit; both parties benefit from increased hunting success
