Wednesday 29th May. Deptford fatal fire. An elderly female has died after being rescued from a blazing property on Deptford High Street in the early hours of Wednesday morning. 35 firefighters were called to scene which saw a second female rescued from the second floor of the property formerly a shop but now converted in flats.
