Hippopotamus rising out of the water, Panic Lake,Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Hippopotamus in Lake Panic, Kruger National Park, South Africa. Information has it that this Hippo was too big to stay in a zoo in Switzerland. However it was bought and is now in the Kruger reserve and resides happily in Lake Panic as you can see. He is almost tame as he is seen wondering around at night in a local lodge. Hippos have been clocked at 30km over short distances. It is however one of the most aggressive creatures in the world and as such ranks among the most dangerous animals in Africa.
