Spain, Burgos: Most complete cranium worldwide of a Homo heidelbergensis in the Museum of Human Evolution


The Museum of Human Evolution Burgos in Castilla-Leon was opened in 2010. It shows pieces of the archaeological site Sierra de Atapuerca as well as the steps of the human evolution. Here is to see the cranium of a male Homo heidelbergensis of about years ago which is the most complete skull of this human species in the world. He was named "Miguelon" and is supposed to have died with 35 years.
