Ponatinib leukaemia drug molecule. Computer model showing the structure of a molecule of the tyrosine-kinase inhibitor (TKI) ponatinib. TKIs are the first-line therapy for most patients with chronic myelogenous leukaemia (CML), a form of blood cancer. Ponatinib is used for the treatment of CML and Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
