Antique Barratt & Co. pottery tile decorated with a striking Art Nouveau floral design, circa 1906. The tile measures approximately 6inches square and has the typical Barratt back. The photographs show the tile from all sides. The condition is good apart from the top left hand corner being slightly reduced, this was for a fixing screws in a washstand’s splash back. See page 80, fig. 593 of the excellent book ‘Art Nouveau Tiles with Style’ by Robert Smith for an example of this design. All my tiles are antique or vintage and not modern reproductions.
