Lid, painted multi-colored with chinoiseries and a trompe l'oeuil. Lid decorated with a four-pass within which a Höroltt chinoiserie. Indian Blumen are painted between the four passes of the lid and on the ear and the spout. Under the spout a letter fragment and trumpere l'oeuil has been applied with the text: "Votre Très Hu [Mble] Johann Martin Bottfridm ... Nebst 1. Balln MIT DEM Sigl: CZ Zur Fracht Ge ... 6 FEV".
