The Orchid Hunter under Surveillance
Orchids are beautiful natural and wild flowers that grow and thrive in unspoilt habitats. Throughout the seasons the orchids appear but not always to a strict schedule. For those who are avid orchid-hunters will know that some species have irregular cycles and can be effected by climate. My colleague, Phil, is seeking to take some macro images of the insides of the flower of the Heath Orchid for his academic studies and book. The resident Pony was quick ti seize on the moment to ensure that the precious flowers were under protective surveillance as was Phil!
