Female moose grazing


Female moose or elk (Alces alces) grazing. Moose live in forests, bogs and marshes in the higher latitudes of the northern hemisphere. They feed on shoots and aquatic plants. Males are solitary, while the females may be accompanied by one or two calves. Photographed in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA.
