Grain farmer Brett Slater holds a 20 kg bag of medium-grain Byodynamic rice grown on his 550 acre property at Fairy Hill just outside of Casino in Northern NSW. Behind him a planting field rests with a green manure crop of oats, field peas, brassica and soy beans which is plowed back 8 weeks before planting the next season's crop.
