A German/French collection of 38 fans, 19th century Among them four feather fans, four brisé fans and 30 folding fans with frames made from wood, ivory, tortoiseshell, some partly gilt and from carved mother-of-pearl. The fan leaves painted with flowers and figures and made from silk, tulle, paper respectively lace. Three folding fans signed "TW" (for Therese Weber) and manufacturer "Thierry München", another exemplar signed "Alexandre", one wooden fan with flower-shaped inscription "VERA".
