Early autumn snow - view down path to Old Amersham from Parsonage Wood showing beechwood colour in foreground

The snow fell early in the Chilterns in 2008 - occurs once in every 25 years. This is a unique view taken soon after sunrise in wonderful sunlight and matching the snow scene with the autumn colours of the beechwood. Taken with a Canon 1Ds Mk III on a Manfrotto tripod and so has great detail enabling large magnification.
