Dacentrurus dinosaur, artwork. This large herbivorous stegosaur lived during the Late Jurassic (150-135 million years ago). It had paired plates down its spine (smaller ones on its neck and larger ones on its back), and paired spikes down its tail. It reached lengths of 7-8 metres and a weight of 5 tonnes.
