Umashimadenomikoto bronze statue god of war. In the Hamarikyu Gardens, Tokyo.


Umashimadenomikoto was known as the 'god of war', apparently. He fought for Emperor Jinmu. The sculpture won a prize organized by the former Ministry of War to celebrate the silver wedding anniversary of Emperor Meiji in 1894.
