Thomas Weisbecker 1949-1972 was a militant leftist and a member of the left-wing extremist terrorist organization Movement June 2nd. He was shot while attempting to arrest him. In 1973 Tommy Weisbecker House in Berlin-Kreuzberg was named after him. It is a self-governed youth leisure centre and home
