Detail image of the Design Workshops and Studios at Arts University Bournemouth, showing the perforated aluminium veil that was erected outside the first and second floors of a former hall of residence. The building has now been converted to design workshops and studios, and the removal of internal load-bearing partitions has created large open plan studios. The design was carried out by Design Engine Architects of Winchester, and AKS Ward were the structural engineers.
