1933 photo - A fisherman feeds tame wild Cod with mussels in a sea-filled fish pond larder built by Colonel Andrew M'Douall (aka McDowall) 1758-1834, the former M P for Wigtown, Scotland from a natural blowhole. The modern Logan Fishpond Marine Life Centre still exists and is the oldest natural marine aquarium in the UK, if not the world and is open to the public and as well as Cod, visitors can see wrasse, grayling, cod, turbot, mullet and pollock.
