MOREMI GAME RESERVE, BOTSWANA: A HILARIOUS picture of a HIPPO surprising a hapless water bird have been captured in the wild of Africa. Taken from thirty –feet away, pictures show the over-sized mammal startling a native African Jacana water bird while trying to remain camouflaged with a smattering of ‘Kariba weed’ as its cover. Other pictures show a couple of cheeky terrapins hitching a ride across the water on a hippo’s back.
