During the local feast for the Presentation of Virgin Mary (November 21) at the abandoned village of Palaioziaziako, Pieria mountains, Pieria, Macedonia, Greece. Palaioziaziako was abandoned, probably, around the end of the 19th century and its inhabitants were relocated lower to the plains of Pieria in a village called Lofos. Nowadays, the people from Lofos visit the place of their ancestors once a year for the feast. Delicious bean soup and smoked herring is served to the participants.
