Oxfordshire, England - 24 November 2017 Striking cloudscape over my home in Radley Village, Oxfordshire. Cirrus clouds - seen here - have a characteristic wispy, feathery form, and consist of high-level ice crystals. The sun is setting to the left of frame, producing the luminescent yellow-tinged clouds seen here. I just love cloudscapes and skies. Mostly they are pretty boring, but others - like the one in this shot - can be startlingly beautiful. This one reminds me of flying birds. And, needless to say, you will never see the same sky twiceÉ So I often look up whenever I get a chance. After all, you never know what you might see!
