St. Walburga, originally St Xavier, the Jesuit church in Bruges, Belgium. Dated 1643 in the frieze, to designs of Jesuit architect Pieter Huyssens (1577-1637), completed by fellow Jesuit J. Boulé with some minor changes. Based on Giacomo della Porta's Gesu in Rome, with volutes (scrolled buttresses) over the aisles. The northern aisle was badly damaged by a bomb explosion in 1918.
