Sandoz, Gustave (1836 - 1891) - a walking stick handle set with gems, Silver grip with raised, etched floral tendrils, the entire surface decorated with set gems and pearls, silversmith's mark, on the inside engraved signature "Gustave Sandoz Paris". Length cm. Weight 163 g. Gustave Sandoz, French watchmaker and jeweller, was born in Paris on 11 September 1836. His father was a watchmaker of Swiss descent from the area of Neuchatel.
