Replanted trees in a woodlands section of Westchester County, New York, USA


On July 12, 2006 a category F2 tornado ripped through parts of Westchester County, just north of New York City. Thousands of trees were destroyed. A reforestation program was initiated to re-grow the forested areas. Pictured here are some of the saplings which were planted in a wooded area of Armonk damaged by the tornado.
