Ice Caves trail at Sam's Point, near Ellenville NY


The Ice Caves at Sam's Point were formed when gigantic blocks of stone shifted, forming narrow vertical cracks as high as a 2-story house. Here, near one end of the loop, the trail works its way through one of them.
