Marie Louise by Gerard


Marie Louise (1791-1847) was the second wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. She was the daughter of Francis I, emperor of Austria, and princess Theresa of Naples. This painting of Marie Louise hangs in Vienna's Kunsthistoriches Museum and was done around 1811 by French neoclassical artist Francois Gerard (1770-1837).
