San Andres de Teixido, Galicia, Spain

The chapel in the small Galician town of San Andres de Teixido, Spain. This town is founded upon the belief that St Andrew established a church here under the instruction of God who told him that everyone must visit San Andres de Teixido for those that do not do so in this life must do so after death before they can move on into the next life. There is an annual festival to the dead and a local tourist industry that thrives upon the beliefs surrounding this place. A strangely weird but lovely little town overlooking the amazing wild Galician coastline.
