A bronze sculpture of Napoleon of Seurre (1798 - 1858), Impressive, well-crafted sculpture, modelled freely after the famous figure in the cour d'honneur des Invalides in Paris, which shows Napoleon as "petit caporal" in his favourite uniform of the chasseurs à  cheval. One reason why Seurre's original figure turned out so well was because General Bertrant lent him the bicorn, coat (redingote), sword, etc. from the former possessions of Napoleon for the painting. Height 64 cm. France, Imperial, French Empire, object, objects, stills, clipp, Additional-Rights-Clearance-Info-Not-Available
