The Chrysler Building is an iconic Art Deco-style skyscraper located on Lexington Avenue, in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. Standing 1,046 feet ( m) tall, it was built in 1930 to house the Chrysler Corporation, and was the worlds tallest building until The Empire State Building was completed in 1931. Only the beautiful art-deco lobby area is open for public access.
