An 1893 engraving of an Akkas (also known as Aka, Bayaka, BiAka, and Babenzele) nomadic pygmy tribesman from Gabon. They also live in southwestern Central African Republic and in the northern Republic of the Congo. Between 1910 and 1941, their traditional lands were part of French Equatorial Africa
