St James's PIccadilly, church in London by Christopher Wren. Fibreglass steeple


St James's Piccadilly, London. Church designed by Sir Christopher Wren and built between 1676 and 1699. , with the spire was added fifteen years later. In October 1940 the church was severely damaged by enemy bombing, and much of the roof collapsed. It was restored by Sir Albert Richardson in the 1950s. The spire was replaced with a fibreglass replica
