White Japanese Shiba inu, Kamiyama, Shikoku Island, Japan

Travelling in the remote mountains area of Kamiyama, Shikoku Island, I stopped to photograph this alert, protective dog, which was likely a cream Shikoku ken, based on location, but it could also be a cream Shiba Inu. It's hard to tell the difference between the two, and the distinctive white urajiro markings are not very visible on cream dogs.
