Glendalough in Ireland's Wicklow Mountains National Park preserves an early Medieval monastic settlement founded in the sixth century by St. Kevin.

Thought to date from between the 10th and 12th centuries, the remains of St. Kevin's Church, a separate round tower known as St. Kevin's Kitchen, and ancient graveyard draw visitors at Glendalough in Ireland's Wicklow Mountains National Park. Sited in a glacial valley in County Wicklow, its heart is an early Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin. Glendalough is often included in day trips from Dublin.
