Detroit, Michigan - Paint brushes on a table where volunteers were painting a mural on the entrance to Cody High School during a week-long community improvement initiative called Life Modeled. Volunteers from churches, businesses, and other organizations boarded-up vacant houses, cleaned yards and streets, and repaired schools.
