It can frequently be seen in bloom when the ground is white with snow, as it takes every advantage, and hastens to dis- play its graceful snow-white bells before the winter has disappeared. In conjunction witii Chionodoxas and Scilla Sibirica a matchless effect can be produced. As the bulbs are small they should be planted liberally in order to obtain immediate results.
