Iglesia de la Vera Cruz, or Church of the True Cross, Segovia, Segovia Province, Castile and Leon, Spain. The church dates from the 13th century and traditionally is thought to have been built by the Knights Templar, though recent research attributes its construction to the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. The unusual floor plan of the nave is dodecagonal, or twelve-sided, integrated with a double-storeyed shrine at its centre. The Old Town of Segovia and its Aqueduct are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
