DAKAR, Senegal (March 10, 2014) Sierra Leone Navy Lt. Cmdr. Lawrence Jabati and Ghana Navy Lt. Cmdr. David Kpetigo work in the Dakar Maritime Operations Center (MOC) during Exercise Saharan Express. The MOC coordinates all scenario-based activities of the exercise including combatting illegal fishing, trafficking and piracy. Saharan Express 2014 is an annual international maritime security cooperation exercise designed to improve maritime safety and security in West Africa.
