A naval chronometer and hand-held telescope The chronometer (model 5461) of the firm "Dobbie Son & Hutton, 113 Fenchurch St, London" (purveyor to the British admiralty). Mahogany casing with brass fittings and cardan suspension, glass screw bezel, escapement with chain and fusee. The clock face (90 mm) with gilt and blued pointers, the address of the manufacturing company resp. of the distributor "Glasgow House, Alex. Dobbie, 45 Clyde Place", with slight marks of wear.
